R & R Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Welder / Fitter to join our team in Broussard. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, understands quality standards, and wants to be part of a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux Core welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
- Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Prepare materials including cutting, grinding, and fitting
- Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Verify work meets AWS, ASME, API, and customer specifications
- Document inspections and complete quality reports
- Assist with or coordinate NDT testing (UT, MT, PT, RT)
- Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of hands-on welding and fitting experience
- Strong understanding of welding processes and metallurgy
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Knowledge of welding codes and industry standards
- Experience working in a fabrication or industrial environment
- Certifications are a plus:
- AWS Certified Welder
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- ASNT Level II (NDT)
- API 1104 / ASME Section IX experience
Work Environment & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime as needed)
- Shop and occasional field work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work may include heights, confined spaces, and non-climate-controlled environments
