Commercial & Residential Loss Control Consultant-Independent Contractor

Insurance Inspector MIB, Inc. is seeking independent 1099 contractors to conduct insurance underwriting surveys for residential, commercial, and agricultural properties across Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C. The role requires self‑motivation, reliability, organization, and basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods. Responsibilities Perform on‑site underwriting surveys of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. Assess conditions and identify hazards that may lead to claims activity. Gather data to assist insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values for buildings and dwellings. Communicate with community members and site contacts. Qualifications Self‑motivated, reliable, organized. Basic knowledge of home construction material and methods. Prior inspection experience is a plus. PC with internet access and digital camera. Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
