Overview
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) – Travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date 08/31/2026 for 18 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,663–$2,852. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). Setting: labor and delivery unit within an acute care environment. This role is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients and their families
- Monitor fetal status, administer medications, assist with procedures, and respond to emergencies
- Circulate for cesarean sections and participate in operative delivery team activities
- Assess patient and family needs, develop care plans, and document care plans and outcomes
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and provide patient education

Requirements
- Active California RN license (or eligibility)
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of Labor and Delivery or obstetric nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care; ability to circulate for C-sections
