About the Company

ATR International is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Specialist for a contract opportunity with a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and delivering medicines for people with serious, life-threatening diseases. This role supports production operations through accurate inventory management, proper material handling, and dependable warehouse support.

Position Details

• Pay: $19.07–$24.07 per hour
• Employment Type: Contract
• Hours: 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day

About the Role

The Distribution Specialist I supports daily warehouse activities, including receiving, dispensing, inventory control, and shipping. This position handles both Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and non-GMP materials while following established procedures, temperature requirements, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily warehouse assignments and monitor completion of required activities.
• Receive incoming shipments of GMP and non-GMP materials and equipment according to established procedures.
• Dispense GMP materials to support production operations.
• Prepare and deliver raw materials to departments while maintaining required handling procedures and temperature ranges.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for GMP warehouse materials.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and complete accurate enterprise resource planning (ERP) transactions.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to the warehouse operations team and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Cross-train in additional warehouse operations.
• Prepare general shipments and equipment according to established policies and procedures, excluding patient material.
• Keep required individual training current.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, inspection-ready warehouse.
• Complete in-house forklift certification.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. Duties may be delegated to appropriately qualified personnel as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of a GMP environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to complete in-house forklift certification.
