About the Position

Job description

A hospital in Springfield, MA   is seeking Locum Interventional Radiologist to start in February/March 2026! Potential for 2-3 days remote, per week.

• Start Date:  Feb/March 2026
• Duration: 3-6 assignment to extend as needs require
• Schedule (Shifts and Hours) : Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM--One day on site for DX Breast-
• Practice Setting: hospital based and some remote
• Average Number of Cases Per Day: variable
• Annual ER Volume: 120 pts day
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic/PowerScribe/PACS
• Number of Radiologists in Practice: 8 on team -2 leaving =6 total after Feb
• Description of Support Staff: Full Compliment
• Do You Use Teleradiology?: Yes, remote possible 2-3 days per week-TBD
• Patient Age Demographic : Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric
• Credentialing: 60-120 days

Reads Required:

• Mammography
• MRI: Basic neuro
• MRI: Brain
• MRI: Spine
• MRI: MSK
• CT
• PET/CT
• Nuc Med
• US
• Pediatric studies

Interventional Procedures Required:

• Interventional breast/thyroid FNA

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active MA License
• ACLS, BLS
