Class A Truck Driver
Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A Drivers in the Jacksonville, FL area!
Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. You will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customers facilities. Schedule is Monday through Friday 7A - 4:30P. Pay rate is $24/hour. This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up tractor-trailers containing wooden pallets
- Will be driving automatic trucks; 53' dry vans and/or flatbeds.
- Maintain driver log through ELD
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 23 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
- Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds
