Data Center Technician

*Data Center ISP Technician (Level 1 / Level 2) - Cheyenne, Wyoming*

*Key Responsibilities*
Inside Plant Operations
* Install, configure, and maintain servers, racks, network equipment, and power distribution units (PDUs)
* Perform rack-and-stack activities and structured cabling installations
* Manage and maintain fiber optic and copper cabling infrastructure
* Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues to minimize downtime
* Work alongside network and systems teams to support critical data center operations
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment, cooling systems, and backup power infrastructure
Outside Plant Operations
* Support the installation and maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure, conduits, and cabling systems
* Route, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper cables between facilities and network connection points
* Inspect outside plant infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance
* Coordinate with contractors and vendors on installation and repair projects
* Maintain accurate documentation of cable routes, infrastructure updates, and system changes
*Required Qualifications*

* Experience supporting data center, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments
* Knowledge of structured cabling standards and fiber optic technologies
* Hands-on experience with rack and stack, hardware installation, and troubleshooting
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment

*Licensing Requirements*
Candidates must be open to possessing one of the following:

* *LV-G Low Voltage License* (4,000 hours)
* *LV-C Low Voltage Communication License* (500 hours)
