This is a builder's role: you'll blend deep technical leadership with people leadership writing production-quality code, owning the architectural integrity of critical services, and guiding a team of engineers who genuinely love owning what they build. You'll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business problems into reliable, governed, customer-centric data products, while championing engineering , operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the team. About the team: The Global Data Foundation (GDF) is a key engineering team within Walmart’s Global Tech, Data & AI pillar, developing advanced data platforms and intelligent systems that support transformative data needs of organization.
