Love variety in your day? Passionate about exotic animals? Ready to grow your skills in a hospital that loves to teach?

At Southview Animal Hospital & Urgent Care, general practice goes beyond the ordinary! We’re a progressive, growing hospital that bridges the gap between general practice and specialty medicine, offering our team opportunities to work with a diverse range of species and expand their clinical skills.

From dogs and cats to rabbits, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, and other exotic species, our patients make every day an opportunity to learn something new. Our modern facility also offers exposure to advanced diagnostics, anesthesia, urgent care, and special procedures. We’re passionate about compassionate medicine, fear-free handling, client education, and helping our team members reach their full potential.

What makes Southview different? We invest in our people. You’ll work alongside collaborative veterinarians and experienced team members in an environment that values continuing education, professional growth, teamwork, and work-life balance.

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to a diverse range of patients, including exotic species.

• Support wellness visits, diagnostics, treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and other clinical procedures.

• Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, husbandry, and chronic disease management.

• Collaborate with veterinarians and fellow team members to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Continue developing your skills through training, mentorship, and opportunities to explore areas of clinical interest.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential applicable to Minnesota practice.

• At least one year of veterinary medicine experience.

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

• A compassionate, motivated approach to patient care and a genuine desire to keep learning.

• Exotic animal experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important!
