As an Angular Frontend Developer, you will collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create and modernize seamless, high-performance applications.Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.Public Trust Eligibility RequiredResponsibilitiesImplement and refine the Design System components based on provided wireframes and prototypesBuild reusable UI components and ensure smooth integration with backend APIsEnsure responsive design across various devices and platformsDevelop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and accessibility tests) to validate functionality and performanceEnsure all deliverables meet Section 508 accessibility requirementsActively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)Update sprint artifacts and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliveryProvide clear technical documentation on UI components, including usage guides and integration instructionsSupport deployment and provide Tier 2 production support for frontend-related issuesDeliverables must be fully tested, integrated, and compliant with the design system and accessibility standardsAll code should meet the library's and Aretum's coding standards and be approved through sprint reviews and demosRequirements5+ years of software development experience3+ years of experience with Angular 10+Strong skills in modern JavaScript or TypeScript2+ years' experience using utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind and Bootstrap2+ years' experience with state management approach in AngularFamiliarity and experience with Section508 standardsGit or other version control systemsExperience with Angular testing methodologies using frameworks like Jasmine, Karma and JestExperience working with component libraries like Angular MaterialAbility to work with RESTful servicesExperience with Agile Development PracticesExcellent collaboration and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of advanced features like RxJS, NgRx, or Angular UniversalExperience in developing accessible web applicationsFamiliarity with tools for debugging and performance optimizationUnderstanding of web security principles like OWASP Top 10Basic understanding or experience with design principles and tools like Sketch or FigmaExperience with continuous integration and deployment practicesBasic understanding of backend technologiesTravel RequirementsThis is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.U.S. Work AuthorizationApplicants must be U.S. citizen or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This position supports a federal government contract and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, depending on the agency's background investigation requirements.
