Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification required
• Experience with K-2 age students preferred

• Familiarity with cross-categorical special education environments
• Commitment to maintaining accurate and thorough documentation and IEP records

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students in resource/cross-categorical classrooms
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and service providers
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians on student progress and needs
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials for a range of abilities
