Responsibilities Mercy Hospital Folsom , a member of Dignity Health, is currently seeking a Care Assistant to join their hospital staff. The Care Assistant is a member of the healthcare team responsible for patient care supportive services under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position requires demonstrating behaviors aligned with the core (Mercy) values in support of Mercy Hospital of Folsom's mission and philosophy. Qualifications At least 1+ year of CNA, nurse assistant, or care giver experience. Must have BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Acute care hospital experience is preferred. Overview Dignity Health, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, serves the Sierra foothills communities including Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, and Rescue. With 106 licensed acute-care beds, our accredited non-profit hospital has been providing exceptional care for over 35 years. We offer surgical services including minimally invasive general, urological, and gynecological surgeries, as well as comprehensive orthopedic services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and specialty orthopedic care. As a certified Joint Commission Stroke Center, Mercy Folsom provides exceptional care in our Medical Surgical and Intensive Care units, along with a 25-bed Emergency Department. Our Family Birth Center features private, contemporary birthing suites where labor, delivery, and recovery occur in one room, supported by award-winning lactation training and support.
