Vallejo Insurance Associates is seeking an experienced Licensed Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with prior insurance experience who is comfortable servicing commercial accounts, processing policy changes, and building lasting client relationships.

Compensation is based on experience and includes a competitive base salary, incentive pay on new and renewal policies, and semiannual bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

You'll play a key role in servicing our commercial insurance clients and providing exceptional support throughout the life of their policies.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, delivering prompt, professional service.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and other policy servicing requests.
• Prepare certificates of insurance (COIs), quotes, and other policy-related documentation.
• Assist clients with coverage questions, billing inquiries, and day-to-day account servicing.
• Communicate with insurance carriers and team members to ensure timely, accurate service.
• Maintain accurate client records and support long-term client retention through exceptional service.

Requirements

• An active California Property Casualty License is required
• Prior insurance agency experience is required (personal or commercial lines)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Experience using Microsoft Office and agency management systems (Applied Epic or similar software is a plus)
• Eagerness to learn commercial insurance products, coverages, and agency procedures
