Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers in a true LDRP setting.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and ensure post-operative care for mothers.
• Collaborate with medical staff including OB Hospitalists and anesthesiologists.
• Administer prescribed medications and document using Epic charting system.
• Participate in teaching and orientation of new staff and residents.
• Maintain a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on mother and newborn care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with a specialty in Labor & Delivery.
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct labor & delivery experience.
• Proficiency in using Epic for electronic medical records.
• Experience in teaching hospital environments preferred.
• Ability to work in high-risk, fast-paced settings.
