Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a MedSurg/General Surgery unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Information

Contract Length: 13-week contracts available
Start Date: 2-3 weeks from offer acceptance
Shift Options: 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM); 4x12 preferred
Every Other Weekend: Required
Holiday Rotation: Required
Call Rotation: Required
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel travelers one shift per 2 weeks

Unit Information

Ratios: 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferred
First-Time Travelers: Accepted, but not preferred

Certifications Required

Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification: Preferred

Additional Information

On-Call Requirement: Yes
Floating: Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs
Block Schedule Flexibility: Open to accommodating block schedules at manager's discretion
Local Candidates: Not accepted (60-mile local radius rule)
RTO (Requests Time Off): All RTO must be provided upon submission, with approval based on unit needs
Parking: Free parking available

Hurricane Season Notice

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. It is advised to avoid confirming new contracts during this time, especially in the peak months of August and September.
