Its services include civil/site design, water and water resources engineering, roadway and hydraulic design, project and program management, and public involvement.They are seeking a Land Development Engineer with a site-civil background and at least five years of relevant experience. Opportunities range from PE-level project engineers to more senior professionals with demonstrated technical and leadership capability. The ideal candidate will bring strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience and a practical understanding of land-development design, permitting, and project delivery.Required QualificationsMust have an Active Professional Engineer (PE) licenseBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related field)5+ years of hands-on post-graduate land-development or site-civil design experienceProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with stormwater design and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis; familiarity with tools such as HydroCAD or HEC-RAS is preferredFamiliarity with common permitting workflows; GIS experience is a plusExposure to project coordination or mentorship rolesKey ResponsibilitiesConcept & FeasibilityConduct site feasibility analyses (grading, drainage, access)Prepare conceptual layouts and preliminary cost estimatesDesign & EngineeringDevelop detailed Civil 3D models and construction-ready drawings (grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control)Perform hydrologic/hydraulic calculations per applicable regulationsLead QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and complianceCoordination & PermittingCollaborate with internal disciplines and external agencies to resolve design/interface issuesSupport permit application submittals and follow through to approvalConstruction SupportRespond to RFI's, issue addenda, and provide site-visit support during construction phasesWhy This Role?Fully Remote: This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia.
