Description We are looking for a dependable and detail‑oriented Powder Packaging Operator to join our production team. The Powder Packaging Operator is responsible for operating packaging equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring product quality and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices. Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, and packaging. Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment and processes. Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping. Operate equipment at an efficient level to fulfill production schedules. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and processes. Assist in other areas of the plant as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. What We’re Looking For Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Experience in food processing or manufacturing is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced production environment. Position Requirements Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. Demonstrate an understanding of powder packaging operations, flows, and troubleshooting ability. Ability to communicate effectively to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Capacity to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance. General computer skills and ability to operate testing equipment. Maintain necessary powered industrial vehicle certifications: Example: Forklift, Scissor Lift, Floor Scrubber. Demonstrate the Qualified Individuals responsibilities for preventative controls. Education/Experience High School Diploma or GED. Food manufacturing and industrial machine operation experience preferred.
