Evening CustodianPart-time work as an Evening Custodian at the Y offers flexible hours with meaningful impact on your community.The Ann Arbor YMCA is seeking reliable and detail-oriented evening custodians to join our team. As a custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Essential FunctionsMaintain positive relationships with staff and members in a child-friendly environment.Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customersWork closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areasSweep, mop, and vacuum floorsDust and wipe down surfacesEmpty trash and recycling binsRestock supplies as neededNotify management of any maintenance or repair needsLandscaping and snow removal.Assist the Facilities Director with the outside contractors and vendors that are doing work in the building and on the grounds.Follow all safety procedures and guidelinesPart-time 25 hours/week; 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.Our CultureEvery day and in everything we do, we strive to create a culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing and determined for all our staff, members, program participants and volunteers.We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
