Contract | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting within an acute hospital environment
• Participate in on-call coverage, including one on-call day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM)
• Work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule
• Float within scope to EP (Electrophysiology) or IR (Interventional Radiology) as needed to meet facility demands
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Be available to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending AK license accepted for submission; license must be in hand for offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
• Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers and declinations not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
• Familiarity with Magnet facility standards and Level II Trauma environments
