Job Overview
- Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
- Location: South San Francisco, CA 94080 (1 DNA Way)
- Pay Rate: $25.00 /hr
Main Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Supplies: Manage and maintain inventory levels for lab consumables, reagents, chemicals, and glassware across multiple departments.
- Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming materials, prepare receiving/shipping documentation, and pack materials according to specific handling and temperature guidelines.
- Compliance: Adhere to safety and regulatory standards, including GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) , DOT (Department of Transportation) , and HazMat regulations.
- Operations Support: Troubleshoot operational errors, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and communicate updates to supervisors.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: No minimum experience required. Prior material handling, inventory management, or warehousing experience is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED PLUS either college-level coursework in biological/physical sciences OR an AA/AS degree in a related science major.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record . Must train for Power Industrial Trucks (PIT).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week. Must be open to working overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as required.
