Sorting Coordinator

Sorting Coordinator - 2nd Shift Location: Acton, MA Pay: $24.29/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM We are hiring a detail-oriented Sorting Coordinator for a temporary position supporting quality and inspection operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing visual inspections, identifying product defects, and ensuring products meet established quality standards before release. Job Duties Perform visual inspections of products according to established sorting and quality requirements. Identify, separate, and report non-conforming products. Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines. Accurately document inspection results and communicate findings to the Sort Leader and production team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with team members to support production and quality objectives. Perform additional inspection and manufacturing support duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, receiving, distribution, warehouse, or production support environments preferred. Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Strong visual acuity required to identify product defects and quality issues. Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive inspection tasks throughout the shift. Must be able to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
