As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Waterloo, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. In a caring, agile, and reliable team, you will help support a secure environment, help to deter security-related incidents, and act with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related protocols within an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow property removal and delivery procedures in support of site policies.
• Observe operational areas for potential security-related concerns such as open access points, restricted area violations, and unusual behavior, then report findings according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
