Cath Lab Tech

Cardiovascular Tech RCIS

Join us as a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS, supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervisor and physician guidance.

Requirements:

  • Associate/Bachelor's degree or relevant healthcare experience
  • Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
  • RCIS certification within six months of hire
  • If not RCIS certified, ARRT and TX RT(R) are required

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training new staff and students
  • Monitor dysrhythmias and interpret EKGs during procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment under physician's direction
  • Assist physicians during procedures as a scrub tech
  • Monitor patient status during diagnostic procedures
  • Aid in patient transport and post-procedure care
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and oversee inventory
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medications and dosages
  • Set up for procedures with sterile technique
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues.
