Associate Dentist

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dentist to join our clinical team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to both pediatric and adult patients. The Dentist will examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries of the teeth and gums, combining clinical expertise with a gentle chairside manner to help patients achieve optimal oral health and become an integral part of the Pueblo community. Responsibilities Patient Care: Perform routine checkups and comprehensive oral examinations; deliver preventive dental care and counsel patients on oral hygiene. Diagnostics: Order, perform, and interpret digital radiographs and other diagnostic tests to develop individualized treatment plans. General and Restorative Treatment: Provide restorations (fillings, crowns, bridges), endodontic therapy, extractions, and periodontal care as required. Patient Education: Instruct patients and caregivers on proper brushing, flossing, and preventive strategies to maintain long-term oral health. Referrals: Identify cases requiring specialty care and refer patients to orthodontists, oral surgeons, or other specialists as appropriate. Compliance and Records: Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and adhere to charting protocols, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from an accredited dental school. Licensing: Active, unrestricted license to practice dentistry issued by the New Jersey Dental Board and in good standing. DEA Registration: Valid and active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration in good standing. Clinical Competence: Demonstrated ability to perform dental procedures under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional chairside manner. Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy and familiarity with modern electronic health record systems and digital dentistry technologies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
