Behavioral Health Technician

Schuylkill BH-PA160 65 N Lehigh Ave Frackville, PA 17931, USA Summary of the Position Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a non-traditional way of providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in a variety of community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. Responsibilities Provide services in settings including home, school, community settings (camp, daycare, etc.). Work under a Qualified Mental Health Professional, as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, and implement specific treatment goals. Deliver sound clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children/adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting. Availability Flexible hours up to 40 hours per week. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services. Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization. Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT). Proficient computer knowledge; experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage. Preferred Skills Strong Communication Skills (Intermediate). Basic Computer Skills (Some Knowledge). Dedicated. Detail Oriented. Ability to Make an Impact. Bachelor\'s degree or better.
