Job Description:
Support patients throughout their surgical experience on a travel healthcare contract in Hermiston. You will provide pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I, and Phase II care; assess patients, manage IV access, monitor airway and vital signs, administer medications, manage pain and nausea, and provide discharge education. The role includes caring for patients undergoing local procedures, assisting with nerve blocks as needed, documenting in the electronic medical record, and participating in scheduled post-anesthesia call rotation. This assignment offers focused perioperative work with opportunities to use critical-care judgment in a recovery setting.
