Job Overview Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER at GDIT. Responsibilities Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex new software products and enhance existing software. Integrate design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities. Resolve complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations. Research emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution. Provide input for technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials. Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for process‑specific hardware and application issues. Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. Required Experience: 3 years’ experience with at least 2 years in software development, including design, coding, testing, and documentation of software products or applications. Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance). Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility. Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills. Preferred Skills: Development experience with .NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
