Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• 2+ Years of Medical Assistant Experience
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the Medical Assistant specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Travelers must have their own vehicle for the assignment
• Candidates must check their voicemails and emails prior to submitting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist the physician and other staff to ensure the office runs efficiently.
• Provide direct patient care services, such as taking routine vital signs and gathering pertinent medical history.
• Educate and prepare patients for office procedures.
• Assist the physician in the collection and preparation of specimens.
• Administer injections under the direct supervision of the physician.
• Notify patients of test results and the recommended plan of care as directed by the physician.

Compliance / Notes:

• Candidates should look into housing before submitting, as the assignment is in a remote area.
• Facility will not consider local candidates within a 100-mile radius.
