Role Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding group of imaging specialists, providing outstanding care to our community. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology for diagnostic procedures, engage with a collaborative team, and contribute to ensuring patients feel informed and reassured during their imaging experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, taking the time to explain each step with clarity and empathy.
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic images.
- Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues.
- Accurately document procedures and ensure the proper maintenance of patient records within the electronic medical system.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practice guidelines.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
