Located in Brooklyn Park, MN Salary: $22-$26/hr Company Overview:Our client is a dynamic and growing company seeking talented individuals to join their Assembly team. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in assembling component parts into complex systems. Your attention to detail and technical knowledge will ensure that all parts fit correctly and adhere to our high standards of quality. You'll utilize both hand tools and machinery to achieve precision in building our products. Shift:
- First Shift: 5am-3:30pm Monday - Thursday
- Read and comprehend assembly instructions, manuals, and schematics to follow established procedures.
- Gather all necessary materials and equipment to begin each assembly process.
- Take precise measurements to ensure accuracy and proper fit of components.
- Align and assemble parts to create complex units from individual components.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in prime working condition.
- Record production quantities and time spent on assembly tasks.
- Report any issues or defects in materials or processes to the Production Supervisor.
- High school diploma; technical school education is a plus.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure and using power hand tools.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and physical fitness.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience interpreting blueprints and technical documents is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Mechanical or Electrical assembler or in a similar role.
- Background in construction or other fields involving physical labor, particularly with electrical components.
- Non-climate-controlled setting that may involve physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 30-50 lbs).
- Casual atmosphere where you can listen to music via one earbud while working.
