Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

Senior SRE focused on improving reliability, performance, and observability while staying hands-on with engineering.
Needs someone who can understand/debug code and optimize systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities
• 60% SRE / 40% DevOps split
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines
• Embed within scrum teams and partner with engineering
• Improve monitoring, observability, and performance
• Drive automation and reduce technical debt
• Support incident response (4-5 after-hours events/week)
Contribute to dashboards, alerting, and system tuning

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years SRE / DevOps experience
• Strong observability stack experience (Dynatrace + Splunk) - ~50% of role
• Azure DevOps - pipeline/build automation
• Cloud architecture (AWS preferred)
• Kubernetes (high priority)
• Infrastructure architecture + performance optimization
Strong coding background in Java or C#/.NET (20-30% of role)


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Networking fundamentals
• Security experience
Experience leveraging Model Context Protocol (MCP) for SRE use cases (runbooks, SLOs, logs, incidents)
