Emergency Room (ER) Nurse – Night Shift

Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse – Night Shift

Start Date: Open

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience

Schedule: Every other weekend required

Certifications Required:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Clinical Skills Required:

General and Non-Trauma Emergency Department (Adult/Pediatric)
Pediatric Emergency Department
Experience in STEMI and Stroke Certified facilities
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Arterial line and central line care/management
Blood product administration
Phlebotomy and IV insertion
Continuous IV and procedural sedation; IV vasopressors
CVA, ICP monitoring, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury
Ortho-trauma, head injury, TBI, near drowning
CPAP/BiPAP management
ABG interpretation
Management of gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations
Isolation precautions and triage

Other Requirements:

RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with application
No RTO allowed during first two weeks; max 3 days RTO during contract
Must be willing to work holidays
Submitted RTO cannot be changed except to cancel requested time
13-week contract
