Senior Software Engineer

Sr Software Engineer – Woburn, MA Management Level G Notified, a leading global technology and services partner to corporate professionals, is expanding its Technology team and adding a Sr Software Engineer in Woburn, MA. Location: 130 New Boston Street, Woburn, MA. Working arrangement: Office-based Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with flexible work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Responsibilities Design and develop state‑of‑the‑art, modern, high‑performing, scalable web applications. Review feature documentation and assist the team in breaking down all features into stories for the backlog. Analyze business problems, design solutions, and develop modern web applications, web APIs, and database schemas, following best coding practices such as code review and unit tests. Maintain, support, and enhance existing systems and platforms. Create and maintain technical specifications. Participate in the implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of new cloud‑based and cloud‑hosted services. Build and improve continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD). Participate in the continuous improvement of our Agile and DevOps culture and engineering best practices. Monitor system performance and design highly scalable and operable systems. Develop solutions for complex problems independently and collaboratively. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Equivalent work experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Minimum of 5 years overall experience as a full‑stack engineer. Lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑performance backend systems using Microsoft .NET and C#. Frontend framework experience such as Angular required. Develop robust APIs and microservices that integrate with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases. Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cloud‑native solutions using AWS services. Good understanding of front‑end technologies such as JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with Microsoft GitHub Copilot preferred. Collaborative working habits that accelerate the team. Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written) required. Practical experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum). Responsible, independent, and solution‑oriented working style. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing enterprise‑scale, multi‑user applications. Solid understanding of designing and optimizing Web APIs for large‑scale usage. Experience in .NET web‑based applications and backend services development. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Compensation The starting salary for this role is expected to fall within the range of $115,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
