In this role, you will take the technical lead across multiple projects, taking new designs from initial concept through to production launch. Working closely with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, and suppliers, you will carry out design analysis, modeling, and validation to optimize performance, reliability, and manufacturability, while refining existing products to drive quality and cost improvements. You will also help shape design standards and best practices and mentor engineers across the team.

This role is perfect for a senior Product Design Engineer with a background in medical, electronics, or electrical manufacturing, looking for technical ownership, autonomy, and a defined path to grow into leadership.

The Role:

• Leading the design and development of new, high-precision products from concept through to production.
• Carrying out design analysis, modeling, and validation to optimize performance and manufacturability.
• Partnering with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, and suppliers on complex, cross-functional projects.
• Shaping design standards and mentoring engineers across the team.

The Person:

• Product design experience, ideally within medical, electronics, or electrical manufacturing.
• Strong SolidWorks ability, with experience in micro-engineering or tight-tolerance design.
• A track record of taking products from concept through to production.
