Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:
The Physical Therapy Aide is responsible for providing timely, caring, and appropriate care and treatment under the direction of Physical and Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants, to patients of all ages. The Physical Therapy Aide working under the direction of the Physical Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist is a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Experience as a Nurse Aide/Therapy Aide preferred.

License/Certifications
