Enhancement Crew Leader

Description The Crew Leader Enhancement oversees landscape enhancement and maintenance of a crew of 2 or more team members, providing hands‑on leadership in soil, planting, watering, and insect control. The role ensures that client standards are consistently met while identifying and implementing operational efficiencies. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct site inspections and provide hands‑on leadership and guidance for soil, planting, watering, and insect control. Ensure client standards are met while maintaining operational efficiencies. Drive and maintain vehicles, train crew members with a strong emphasis on safety, manage schedules, and review charts and reports. Qualifications 2+ years of landscape installation experience. Minimum 1 year of lawn care and landscaping experience; supervisory experience desired. Minimum 1 year of managing a crew of 2 or more. Familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment. Experience operating skid steer, excavator, backhoe, and similar equipment. Able to read architectural drawings. Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Physical Demands Must be at least 18 years old (21 if operating company vehicles). Strong stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Able to safely operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers. Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously, and perform repetitive motions. Manual labor with hand tools (shovels, rakes, etc.). Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (safety shoes, high‑visibility clothing, etc.). Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company motor‑vehicle performance standards. Flexible schedule, including weekends or holidays if needed. Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.; load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailers up to 50 lbs. Maintain required medications for allergic reactions at all times. Work Environment Work outdoors/indoors in moderate to extreme temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight. Work near automotive traffic, bodies of water, fumes, dust, and mechanical or electrical hazards. Work in environments with extended loud noise. Exposure to allergens such as pollen, ragweed, insects, and reptiles. Compensation $25-30 per hour, depending on experience.
