Assistant Program DirectorHot JobPercy Village - Los Angeles, CA 90023OverviewSalary Range $110,000.00 - $124,000.00 Salary/yearDescriptionTitle of Position: Assistant Program DirectorLocation: Percy VillageExempt/Non-Exempt: ExemptUnion/ Non-Union: Non-UnionSupervisor: Program DirectorSUMMARY OF POSITIONAssists the Program Director in supervision of staff as assigned and has oversight of clinical operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIESServes as head of service in absence of the Program DirectorLiaison between administrative, clinical/program staff and other agenciesSupervises assigned staff, including provision of clinical supervision hours for staff/interns who are BBS registeredAssists Program Director in clinical program developmentRecruits and interviews applicants for clinical positionsPlans and implements clinical training for staffAssists in clinical training and supervising new therapists and case aidesMaintains detailed knowledge of, and monitors compliance with, DMH and Gateways' documentation requirements and service delivery benchmarksParticipates in educational seminars for the departmentAssists with the development, maintenance and evaluation of policies and proceduresWrites reports and presentations as requiredAttends inter/intra-agency meetings for networking and information sharingKeeps program personnel informed of professional and community trends, issues, concerns and requestsParticipates in staff and treatment team meetings and contributes pertinent informationAssist other programs as necessaryWorks independentlyProvides on call coverage for emergency consultation and intervention outside of regular work hoursAssists in crisis situations as needed and helps to facilitate client transfers to higher levels of care, when needed/indicatedDevelops, implements and monitors integrity of group scheduleMay complete client assessments for placement. (e.g. MDs, hospitals, etc)Hires, trains, evaluates, and develops corrective action plans for staff in collaboration with the Program Director and Vice President of Human ResourcesPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSExperience providing individual and group therapy in mental health field.Functional experience with mental health system.Treatment and diagnostic skills utilizing the DSM V.Experience with severe and persistent mental illness substance abuse, and evaluating dangerous behaviorsEDUCATION & CERTIFICATESMaster's Degree from an accredited school of social work or psychologyLCSW, LMFT, LPCC or licensed Psychologist – Must be eligible to complete appropriate clinical supervision training in order to supervise registered MFT or MSW interns or other disciplines as designated.REQUIREMENTSMust pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.Valid California Driver's license.TB clearance.Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier.Gateways believes that our people are our greatest asset and is proud to offer competitive benefits that support their health, happiness and career development.Cover 100% Medical/Dental/Vision Premiums for all Full-Time Employees and 1 Dependent8 Paid Holidays + 4 Personal Holidays in Calendar Year3 Weeks of Vacation403b Retirement Plan Company Match 8%Annual Company Events
