You’ll be hauling a mix of refrigerated and dry van freight , making deliveries all across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky . On a typical shift, you’ll cover 200–300 miles with 2 to 4 loads and about 6 to 8 stops . It’s steady work that keeps you moving without running you ragged. Just a heads‑up- this is a slip‑seat operation , so you’ll be hopping into a well‑maintained truck that’s ready to roll when you are. The Schedule – Straight Talk This is a 3rd shift position with a 9:00 PM start . Shifts usually run 10 to 12 hours , so you’ll get a full day’s work in and still have time to decompress. You’ll have 2 days off each week for solid recovery time- but you do need to be available for nights, weekends, and pretty much any day the freight needs to roll . That’s just the reality of keeping dedicated freight moving on schedule. Also, you’ll occasionally need to support our Woodlawn location when they’re short‑handed, so flexibility there is a must.
