LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Indirect Buyer for a growing global manufacturing organization in the Pageland, SC area. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration while making a direct impact on operational success.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both direct and indirect purchasing within a manufacturing environment and be comfortable managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Source and procure indirect goods and services while supporting strategic purchasing initiatives
• Assist with direct material purchasing as business needs require
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
• Create, manage, and maintain purchase orders
• Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Maintenance, and Production teams
• Monitor inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess inventory
• Track and report cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives
• Analyze purchasing data and supplier performance
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and efficiencies
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 2-5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
• Experience supporting both direct and indirect purchasing is highly preferred
• Manufacturing procurement experience strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, AS400, or similar
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
