Travel RN - Rehab - In Patient

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehab position at a hospital-based rehabilitation pavilion in Northport, AL, requiring at least 2 years of experience including 1 year of recent rehab specialty experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit located within a hospital-based Rehabilitation Pavilion,
• Patient population includes stroke, hip fracture, and pulmonary patients working toward improved functional independence,
• Patients receive 24-hour medical monitoring alongside daily rounding by physiatrists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants,
• Specialized therapy equipment on unit includes body weight support systems, treadmills, Dynavision machines, and a simulation vehicle,
• EMR: Meditech (experience not required),
• Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM,
• Every other weekend required,
• Holiday coverage required,
• Floating to other units and hospitals required,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active AL state or compact RN license required - no pending or temporary licenses accepted,
• No hits (past or current) on license allowed,
• AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required,
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience working under the highest level of professional license; 18 months may be considered,
• At least 1 year of recent inpatient rehab experience required,
• NURSYS license verification required for consideration,
• Current driver's license required for consideration,
• Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration,

• Virtual orientation provided; competency-based modules completed during orientation - no pre-start HealthStream modules required,
• Solid navy scrubs required,
