Account Executive/Sales Director - Sales - East Coast

Hybrid NYC (T/W/Th) | ~$125-$185K Base / $250-$370k OTE

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and close new business relationships across independent agencies, performance agencies, and direct brand advertisers within the East Coast territory
\n
• Responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through pitch, negotiation, and close.
\n
• Leverage existing senior relationships to build a qualified pipeline and accelerate first-quarter revenue
\n
• Translate our premium publisher network, contextual targeting, and native ad formats into compelling business outcomes for senior marketing and media decision-makers
\n
• Lead high-impact client meetings, RFP responses, and strategic solution presentations
\n
• Partner directly with our Global Head of Sales and cross-functionally with Client Success, Ad Operations, and Product leadership to maximize retention and account expansion
\n
• Build and execute a territory plan designed to meet or exceed quarterly quotas and annual revenue targets
\n
• Maintain pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and competitive intelligence within the CRM
\n
• Represent us at industry events, conferences, and client engagements across the territory
\n

\n

Ideal Background

\n

\n
• 4 to 10 years of quota-carrying sales success in digital ad tech within the NY market.
\n
• Existing relationships across the East Coast with independent agencies and direct brand advertisers
\n
• Proven track record of prospecting to close and consistently exceeding revenue targets
\n
• Deep understanding of the contextual, native, and content distribution landscape and how it differs from generic native networks and open programmatic
\n
• Strong executive presence with the ability to sell consultatively into complex stakeholder environments (CMO, media director, planning, and procurement)
\n
• Strategic, intellectually curious, and highly solutions-oriented
\n
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable owning a territory end-to-end and building pipeline from the ground up
