Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Acute Care

Occupational Therapist Pediatric Behavioral Health
Shift: 8 AM - 4:30 PM, primarily weekdays with some flexibility; possible Saturday coverage and day off during the week; holiday coverage may be required.
Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Requirements:
- Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Pediatric behavioral health experience required
- Travel experience highly preferred
- References: 2 recent references matching specialty from Manager/Supervisor
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with address matching demographics
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct Occupational Therapy evaluations for pediatric patients with neurodevelopmental and/or psychiatric diagnoses.
- Provide group and individual treatments in the inpatient behavioral health setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team to support patient care.
- Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with facility policies.
- Engage in professional development and continue education to maintain best practices in pediatric care.
