Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Anesthesiology
Location: Waterloo, IA.
Shift: Monday-Friday (6:30 AM - 4:30 PM), Weekend Call Coverage
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgery
- Provide anesthesia services for surgical procedures
- Participate in night and weekend call coverage
Required Procedures:
- General Anesthesia
- OB Anesthesia (including TOLAC)
- Pediatric Anesthesia (primarily tonsils and adenoids)
- Conscious Sedation
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff:
- 6 Physicians
- 2 CRNAs
Days Per Month: Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month
On-Call/Weekends: Yes
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology Required
- Active Iowa License or IMLC Required
- ACLS Required
- Availability for a minimum of 2 weeks per month Required
