Note: Must be admitted to practice law in Virginia. Medical malpractice defense experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Description
Represent clients in medical malpractice defense and complex litigation matters
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy, motions, discovery, and trial preparation
Draft pleadings, discovery responses, correspondence, motions, and other legal documents
Take and defend depositions as appropriate based on experience level
Assist with hearings, depositions, mediations, expert work, and trial preparation
Manage case files, deadlines, documents, and litigation calendars with strong attention to detail
Work directly with partners and team members to evaluate facts, develop defenses, and move cases forward
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active Virginia Bar admission required
0+ years of litigation experience
Medical malpractice defense, healthcare litigation, insurance defense, or civil litigation experience preferred
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy litigation environment
High energy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to client service
