Joint Commission-accredited and certified in stroke and brain injury rehabilitation, Summa Rehab Hospital is nationally recognized (including being named one of America's Best Rehab Hospitals by Newsweek) for delivering patient-centered care that helps individuals regain independence.QualificationsRequired Skills:Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse requiredCurrent CPR certification requiredOne (1) year recent experience in acute care setting preferredAdditional Qualifications/Skills:Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.Demonstrates awareness of current Infection Control requirements and practicesDemonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelinesDemonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipmentDemonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.Effective organizational and time management skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.Ability to work closely and professionally with others.Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of a registered nurse, provides general nursing care to patients. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
