Position Overview NewYork‑Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is looking for a part‑time Board Eligible/Board Certified Consultation‑Liaison Psychiatrist . The part‑time schedule consists of two 12‑hour weekend shifts per week, including one shift on Sunday nights. Responsibilities The Consultation‑Liaison Psychiatrist will be a key member of a multidisciplinary clinical team to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based mental health treatments. Responsibilities include: Provide psychiatric consultation to the NYP‑BMH emergency room and non‑psychiatric inpatient units. Evaluate patients, assist primary teams in developing treatment plans, and provide ongoing care as indicated. Communicate and collaborate with emergency department, medicine, and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care. Offer clinical leadership and collaborate closely with other roles, including the Nurse Practitioner, as appropriate. Qualifications & Requirements Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry. Must be able to work the specified weekend schedule. (Any additional required credentials implied by board certification.) Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $165,000 to $200,000. Compensation does not include additional benefits or incentive payments based on quality measures and productivity. Academic Appointment The selected candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College, with rank commensurate with experience and credentials.
