Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic interventions, and crafting individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentialing
• Providing essential education to patients and families regarding wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing therapies and medications adhering to your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to guarantee integrative, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure for the state of Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
