Job Details

• Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Cardiac specialty.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience preferred, minimum of 1 year experience required, location in or willingness to travel to Johnstown, PA, with a minimum of 60 miles from the facility.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Providing care for patients with cardiac diagnoses such as myocardial infarction, post-cardiac catheterization, pacemaker management, and post-operative cardiac surgery recovery, including patients with open heart procedures and TAVR.
• Additional Information: Unit patient ratios are RN 1:5, with support staff as specified. Must have a positive attitude and be prepared to handle typical cardiac geriatric care responsibilities.
• Submission Requirements: Complete all screenings and background checks prior to start, including state and federal fingerprinting and child abuse clearances, with documentation uploaded accordingly.
