Staff Sales Support Specialist

The Sales Support Specialist is a critical execution role within the GTM Support team, responsible for accurate, timely, and disciplined execution of quote-to-order and order-to-fulfillment workflows. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Fulfillment, and Business Operations to ensure clean handoffs, high data quality, and a smooth customer journey from deal approval through shipment and revenue recognition.

This role is not simply administrative support; it is operational ownership. The Sales Support Specialist ensures that deals move through standardized processes with rigor, consistency, and attention to detail, while surfacing risks, exceptions, and improvement opportunities to the broader Business Operations organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quote & Order Management :
  
  • Execute standardized quote-to-order and order-to-fulfillment workflows, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved processes.
  • Prepare and process customer quotations and sales orders in alignment with pricing, approval, and documentation standards.
  • Validate order requirements (commercial, legal, fulfillment, and financial) prior to submission to prevent downstream rework.
  • Ensure clean handoff of orders to Finance, Legal, and Fulfillment teams.
• Process Discipline & Lead-to-Cash Support
  
  • Operate within defined lead-to-cash processes, executing consistently and surfacing exceptions or breakdowns.
  • Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, or sources of rework and escalate insights to Business Operations and Process teams.
  • Support continuous improvement by providing front-line feedback on how processes perform in practice.
• Data Integrity & Systems Hygiene
  
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and completeness across GTM systems, including CRM.
  • Ensure opportunities, orders, and related records are created and updated according to documented standards.
  • Contribute to scalable, repeatable GTM execution by protecting the integrity of downstream reporting and forecasting.
• Cross-Functional Partnership
  
  • Act as an operational liaison between Sales, Finance, Legal, Fulfillment, and Business Operations.
  • Coordinate with downstream teams to resolve order-related questions, issues, or dependencies.
  • Build strong working relationships that enable efficient navigation of cross-functional workflows.
• Stakeholder Communication
  
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on order status, documentation, and handoffs.
  • Respond to inquiries with clarity, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Partner with Sales to set clear expectations around process, timelines, and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field.
• Experience in a support, operations, or GTM-adjacent role, preferably within Revenue Operations or Business Operations.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and GTM tools.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working in transactional, high-accuracy environments.
• Ability to follow standardized processes with discipline while exercising sound judgment when exceptions arise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The base pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
