Advantary is building a high-value partner ecosystem, and we are looking for a senior leader to help turn it into a major growth engine.
We already have a substantial base of channel relationships, a strong pipeline of prospective partners, and significant room to expand partner-sourced consulting revenue and investment opportunity flow. This is an opportunity to step into a visible leadership role and build a channel function with real strategic importance to the firm.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Partner, Channel Partnerships to lead channel strategy, activate existing relationships, recruit and ramp new partners, and build a disciplined partner engine that produces measurable results.
This is a senior, externally facing role for someone who combines strategic judgment, commercial instinct, and operating rigor. You should know how to build trust with senior counterparts, create momentum across a partner base, and translate relationships into repeatable revenue.
What You Will Own
Channel strategy and growth
Define the partner strategy, segmentation, tiers, operating cadence, and KPIs. Build a channel motion that drives partner-sourced pipeline, closed revenue, and strategic leverage for the firm.
Activation of existing partners
Re-engage current channel relationships, sharpen positioning, establish clear calls to action, and convert introductions into qualified opportunities and wins.
New partner recruitment and onboarding
Identify, evaluate, and sign new channel partners across advisors, consultants, boutique firms, fractional executives, bankers, and other ecosystem leaders. Build a strong onboarding and enablement motion so new partners ramp quickly.
Partner operating system
Develop the infrastructure that makes the channel scalable: playbooks, partner communications, deal registration, attribution, CRM workflows, reporting, and performance management.
Executive relationship management
Serve as the senior point of contact for key partners. Lead QBRs, briefings, webinars, and strategic relationship development with credibility and consistency.
Cross-functional leadership
Work closely with internal teams to improve conversion, strengthen delivery handoffs, elevate partner experience, and ensure the channel is tightly aligned with firm priorities.
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience leading partnerships, channel sales, alliances, or business development in professional services or another services-based industry.
- A demonstrated track record of building or scaling channels that produce qualified opportunities and closed revenue.
- Strong executive presence, with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High operating discipline, including CRM fluency, forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI-driven execution.
- Strong judgment, high integrity, fast follow-through, and a relationship-first orientation.
- A builder’s mindset: you can create structure, drive accountability, and translate strategy into action.

Compensation
- Equity participation in Advantary as an LLC member
- Performance-based cash compensation
- Carried interest
- Uncapped upside tied to performance and value creation
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years in partnerships, channel sales, alliances, business development, or similar commercial roles
- Clear track record of developing partner relationships that generated qualified opportunities, revenue, or strategic growth
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or another relationship-driven services environment preferred
- Strong executive communication and relationship management skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems, managing pipeline, and tracking performance metrics
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, not required
Location
Advantary is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, with remote flexibility. We welcome candidates with strong networks and partner coverage capabilities across geographies.
